Living on the coast in Cornwall means I am often immersed in boaty culture. Next to animals I find the form of boats to be very pleasing and more than worthy for a piece of silver jewellery. This one is made of silver and copper which I feel helps to capture the distinct nature of the little boats I see in the creeks of Sout Cornwall.
Oxidised silver and copper. 40mm x 40mm.
My workshop is directly underneath a huge oak tree so its only natural that I make jewellery based on oak leaves and acorns. Both hang from a silver hoop so they swing as the wearer moves.

This hare pendant has been rolled with forged metal to suggest the texture of its coat. It looks stunning worn with a simple dark top or dress.

These acorns have dark oxidised tops to provide a lovely contrast to the satin finished smooth silver. They are on long earring hooks to add a sense of glamour.
